- Donate your time – Become a volunteer just complete the membership form (no payment to become a volunteer)
- Sponsor a programme to help the children
- Host a fundraiser and donate the funds to us (We can assist with fundraiser if necessary)
- Helping out in the Variety Office
- Reading to Children
- Visiting sick, disabled or disadvantaged children
- Working on the Sunshine Coach Project

Simply displaying one of Variety’s coin collection boxes in your company by your reception desk or checkout counter. The value of that small change cannot be underestimated as it can help towards the purchase of specialized medical equipment for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Supplying skipping ropes, basketballs, computer programs for one of our local special needs schools.
A staff fundraising event is also a great way to support Variety. Many companies will match $ for $ donations raised by their staff.
Sponsor a ‘Sunshine Coach”. This is a specially equipped vehicle for transporting children with disabilities to and from school and or treatment and other social activites.
Variety Wills And Bequests
Variety the Children’s Charity had a long and close association with Dame Olga Lopes-Seale. This association was recognized by the beloved philanthropist’s bequest of the funds from her charity (The Needy Children’s Fund) to Variety.
The late Dame Olga, having recognized the need for succession in her charity, put in place this simple legal procedure, to ensure her charges receive the continued assistance, even after her death.
You too can assist children who need your help, long after you are gone, leaving them a legacy of hope and prospects for a bright future.
