Variety the Children’s Charity of Barbados recently awarded the International Humanitarian Award to Carlos Fuente of Cigar Family’s Charitable Trust, Dominican Republic. The award was presented at the Variety International Awards Gala and Dinner which took place on May 25th, 2014 at the Concorde Experience in Barbados.
During the Gala, Senator Kerryann Ifill and Dame Olga Lopes Seale were presented with the prestigious Catherine Sheridan Awards. A number of local 20th anniversary awards were also given to those who have made an important contribution over the past 20 years.
Variety would like to congratulate all of the awardees. They have all made a laudable contribution to their communities.
